Before filming, the actors performed the script for entire crew on location as though it were a play. All featured pies were donated free, per artistic integrity.

In the Autumn of 2013, Caleb Slain was one of three filmmakers recruited to explore the work of a team helping children in some of the most ignored area of the globe. He and cinematographer Chad Terpstra ventured out into the Indian state of "Nagaland," one of the most remote regions of the eastern Himalayas to learn about it's people, the health conditions of the children, and a group called "Vitamin Angels”.

At a quaint shop with unusual merchandise, an abrasive Shopkeeper begrudgingly helps a persistent 7-year-old girl find a lost memory, while trying to keep control of the shop.

The Lost & Found Shop has a special place in my heart. I was only 19 when writing/directing the film, and it was my first experience running a full scale production. Safe to say the journey altered the course of my life, and I'm infinitely grateful for everyone who joined our merry crew of dreamers and made this unusual story a reality.

All of our elements and minerals were researched, evaluated, and methodically constructed with an unthinkable level of detail and intention. Outside of minor cleanups and wire removals, there are no VFX shots. Every element, title card and camera move was captured practically in camera.
